Bil-Jac Issues Recall On Dry Dog Food

Bil-Jac Recall 2012

Bil-Jac has issued a voluntary recall of one formula of their dog food.

They announced on their website today that they are recalling one batch that had excess moisture in it. This excess moisture led to mold in some bags of the food. As a precaution, they are recalling the entire batch of food.

The affected food is 6-pound bags of Adult Select Formula Dog Food. Affected bags have the batch number 1792-02 and an expiration date of December 27, 2013.

Bil-Jac has requested stores to remove these bags from store shelves. If you have an affected bag, you can either take it back to the store where you purchased or call Bil-Jac. Bil-Jac's toll-free number is 1-800-321-1002. Do not feed the recalled food to your dog.

At this point, this is the only food that has been recalled and no other details are available. Like our Facebook page to receive updates as they come in.
